I am currently a student at Saint Paul College in St Paul, MN working on a degree in Visualization Technology. I have a great love for design, technology, advertising and marketing.
I am the classic girl that is in love with horses and every year still wants a pony for Christmas! When I was little my first word was "pony" and that was also my favorite word to spell. You could always find me drawing horses or pretending to be one. I was in heaven on the days ESPN would cover show jumping or when Nicolodeon ran episodes of Mr Ed! I would sneak out to the living room on school nights at 11pm to watch Mr Ed. A later obsession would come to be the Black Stallion on the Family Channel. It really didn't matter what it was on tv, Bonanza, Young Riders, Little House on The Prairie, if it had horses you can bet I was watching it!
Today I own several APHA and AQHA horses at any given time with goals of successfully training and showing them in futurities or Association breed shows. I have a true passion for horses of all types and disciplines. Even though I love all horses, colors and sizes I always seem to drift back to the paint horses. Maybe its the color and designs that attract me to them :-)
I am also on the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Paint Horse Association serving my third year in 2008. During my time on the BOD I have helped market, manage & develop the MPHA Summer Sizzler, one of the largest APHA shows in the Midwest.
Meeting my husband Mark is what truly gave me the idea to get more involved in equine marketing and design. He was my doorway into the equine world. Joselyn at JML Design was my inspiration for getting into the web design aspect and I haven't looked back!
